Brian Kennelly CCIM

Brian is the President of Lakewood Ranch Commercial Realty, a subsidiary of Schroeder-Manatee Ranch, Inc. Lakewood Ranch, a 30,000-acre master-planned community, is home to nearly 600 local and national businesses. Its business component includes office, retail, mixed-use, and flex/warehouse space as well as medical, daycare, amenities and services. There currently is 4 million square feet of commercial space on Lakewood Ranch, and 16 million square feet is anticipated upon completion of build out.

During his career, Brian has been involved in acquisition, disposition, development, construction, financing, property management and leasing activities. A licensed real estate broker, he received the CCIM designation from the CCIM Institute of Commercial Real Estate in 2004 and is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate.

Brian graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Real Estate from Florida State University in 1987 and has been professionally associated with the real estate industry for over twenty years.

In addition to serving as Chair of the Real Estate Oversight Committee of the Sarasota EDC and on the Executive Committee of the Manatee EDC, Brian serves on the Board of Directors of the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, and the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross. Brian is an active member of the Sarasota Association of Realtors, having served on its Board of Directors (2006-2007), its Commercial Investment Division Board of Directors (2000-2007), and as President of the Commercial Investment Division (2004). He was honored as the Commercial Investment Division Realtor of the Year in 2004. Brian is also actively involved with the Lakewood Ranch Community Foundation.
